Q. How often should I change the batteries in my smoke detector?
Both solely battery powered and hard-wired smoke detectors' alkaline batteries should
be changed at least every six months. All smoke detectors should be interconnected to comply with current code. Wireless interconnected
smoke detectors are now available as well. We'll be happy to help you bring your smoke detectors up to code.
Q.Why aren't my receptacles working?
Oftentimes, fixing a receptacle is as easy as resetting a tripped GFI. To fix this problem,
all you have to do is press the reset button on your GFI receptacle. Keep in mind that one GFI can protect many other receptacles,
some may not even be in the same room. GFI receptacles are often found in bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, basements, garages,
and outside. If this does not fix your problem, one of our trained professionals will be happy to help.
